Songs of Farewell

A deeply moving musical journey through the many faces of love, from the joy of connection, through heartbreak and loss, to pleas for healing and peace. Parry's Songs of Farewell trace the human spirit through mortality. Alongside these much-loved choral songs, music by Duruflé, Weir, Britten, Dove, Poulenc, Joanna Marsh and Quartel explores love in all its complexity: intimate, ecstatic, painful and consoling.

Les Chansons des Roses

Choral song cycles by Lauridsen and Dove, along with delights on a theme of nature and the seasons. We are delighted to be joined by the Chamber Choir of The Grammar School at Leeds for the closing movement of Lauridsen's Les Chansons des Roses, and Bernstein's radiant closing chorus of his opera Candide.
